Tell ANNA About Your Kidney Disease Awareness and Education Event
Each year ANNA encourages members of the renal services community to participate in ANNA's annual national kidney disease education initiative – Kidney Disease Awareness and Education (KDAE) Week. The objective of this initiative, which was held August 9-13 in 2010, is to educate state and federal lawmakers about kidney disease, treatment options, and the legislative issues facing the renal community. Apply for ANNA Awards, Scholarships, and Grants
Each year ANNA members and chapters have the opportunity to apply for a variety of awards, scholarships, and grants. During the 2010-2011 cycle, ANNA will offer over $103,000 in nursing excellence awards, scholarships, and grants. Free CNE Credit Available in ANNA's Online Library
Each month ANNA offers a new selected educational session from its 2010 National Symposium for which members can earn FREE continuing nursing education (CNE) credit. This month's featured session is “Bugs, Bugs, Bugs: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.” Presented by James Lewis PharmD, this educational program focuses on new and current organisms affecting the CKD patient population as well as pharmacologic treatment of infectious disease in this population. ANNA members can listen to the live recording of the session, view the accompanying presentation materials, and earn CNE online – all for FREE.
